The Secret Speeches Aren't So Secret Anymore

Featured Replies

Wikileaks released an email cache yesterday. This email gets rid of some of the mystery about why Clinton never released her speech transcripts. It contains several excerpts that the campaign deemed more damaging than releasing the transcripts.

Do you think that it was smarter for them to keep them than to release them, or would it have worked better for them to have released them in the first place?

No matter what she does, she's attacked. Heads, you win; Tails, I lose.

I understand the decision they made and think it was their least bad available option, especially now seeing their actual content.

I just don't find them to be terribly damning, especially in context of everything else happening right now (they also confirm her support for UHC and clean energy)

If that is the worst that WikiLeaks can offer, then there is nothing for Hillary to worry about. Maybe WikiLeaks is saving the worst for just before the election?
