everyone is stereotyped, even the majority. in the usa, the majority is white, and the biggest stereotype agains us is that we are racist.

The thing is, stereotypes don't start from nowhere. There is a small grain of truth in every one. For example, the stereotype that all whites are racist certainly isn't helped by guys like the KKK.

Should Hollywood try to make a British character embody the most common traits, or a specific type of British citizen? I'm sure every Brit isn't exactly the same, so you have to take from a broad range of characterizations.
