gravitational force

Featured Replies

Of course. Drop something off a tower, you'll see it gain speed.

(I was also going to mention gravitational slingshot, as used by several space probes, but that works more by robbing a little orbital momentum from the larger body; not sure if that meets your needs.)

Okay so the sun has a gravitational force that's 28 times earth's

Or let me rephrase that. the force of gravity is 28 times greater on the sun than the earth.

Dang I was unaware 😨... My big question is could we use an object gravitational force to be turned into speed?
