The trailer for Superman v Batman ( dawn of justice ) was leaked yesterday.

Always liked the DC Universe and its characters, much more so than Marvel, as I was growing up.

After decades of Hollywood messing up these characters, we finally get some movies that capture them truthfully. I'm hoping for the best, but expecting the worst.

What do you guys think ?

The fundamental difference between these franchises is the, potential, reality of the monsters/evil; DC forms it’s monsters/evil from a more simplistic meaning, whilst star wars use a definition far closer to the reality.

I didn't read comics at all till quite recently (barring Asterix and Tintin as french educational aids) so didn't have a preconception built up in my youth. I think at present I prefer Marvel - the DC stuff takes itself too seriously whilst also being too silly.

 

I will always have a soft spot for Star Wars - I even quite liked the prequels
