10 rules of the internet

It's more technology than just internet, but whatever

A couple that I thought especially apply here at SFN:

The only way to get useful feedback from people on the Internet is to ask questions that are actually answerable, instead of open-ended.

There are quite a few examples of people answering open-ended questions and then getting mad that nobody could clairvoyantly discern what the answerable question was.

If your website's full of [a-holes], it's your fault.

Which is a reason for having moderators.

Never argue against logic with emotion, or against emotion using logic.

This gets me in trouble every time. Discussion is made more difficult when you have to keep explaining either that you don't mean this personally or that a sound-byte answer to a complex question is unacceptable.
