What is this that I cut out of my back?

Does anyone have an idea what this is? It was deeply imbedded in my back for about two years and although it was visible from the skin surface (looked kind of like an ingrown blackhead) it needed a significant incision to be removed. It is round, hard, and 2.75mm tall by 2mm wide. Any ideas?

It is at least unethical for anyone but a doctor to give medical advice, and it may be criminal. Moontanman gave the only advice anyone here on SFN should give in this situation.

 

I have had my doctor remove things from my skin, and he always sends them to a lab for analysis.
