spacemanspiff Posted April 4, 2003 Share Posted April 4, 2003 i recall that there were artistic differences between him and his publishers. i think they wanted to put more restictions on the stip than he was willing to deal with. not in terms of content so much as things like layout and liscening. waterson did not like to sell calvin's image. edit: read the 10th anniersary book for a better explanation.
