I want, however, to be recognized as the original conceiver of this procedure before blabbing it on any and every forum out there. However, I don't know who to talk to to have a chance of someone taking me seriously, while meanwhile being someone who has the ability and respected power to employ my idea. I have begun searching online to find someone to hear me out. What I will reveal now is that my procedure 1: Involves harboring an environmentally pure sanctuary for frogs 2: Involves, preferably, a very large amount of land while requiring absolutely no science equipment. 3: Involves marijuana plants 4: Involves frogs "breathing" and processing the surrounding air including exerted components of thriving marijuana plants, into their bodies through their skin, and forwarding a particular process of evolution. Marijuana will be fulfilling a purpose not by being devoured or smoked, but by thriving with the surrounding environment. It is likely possible to be done without marijuana plants, but I believe that marijuana would be a catalyst to a more quickly fruit bearing procedure. 5: Involves all lifeforms within the vicinity to directly return their urine and feces into the soil rather than prolong/distort this process by humans disposing it through pipeworks That's about 40% of it. I also believe I am 100% sure that my idea is the most investigation worthy attempt to cure cancer. I am 20 years old, and my only reasoning behind how I've configured this idea is that it is "cosmic wisdom" imparted by god I hope someone may be able to point me in the right direction? Imagine for a moment that I did indeed conceive the coveted effective treatment, and someone else used my extremely specific procedure and I was unaccredited. I do not consider this selfish or unreasonable 3: I can perfectly outline every aspect of my scheme and it is ready to be tested. There are some aspects of it which may be extremely difficult to go about particularly in the current state of the society. I want to reaffirm that the only advice I seek is to seek a scientist/medical scientist to fully share the entirety of my procedure with. I realistically don't expect the procedure to undergo for at least several years because of many hindrances. Arete Posted November 29, 2012 Share Posted November 29, 2012 (edited) The proposal is still too vague to offer any real advice an example of a helpful proposal would be along the lines of: "I have observed frogs thriving in a habitat contaminated with a high level of mutagens, and thus believe they may be secreting a chemical which inhibits tumor growth on their skin. I also believe, should it exist, that the secretion may be an effective anti cancer treatment. I have thought of an experimental design to test my hypotheses and am interested in collaborating with frog specialists and cell biologists on a project." at the moment we can't tell between a solid foundational concept such as the above, or whether you are convinced that Jesus has come back as a fairytale frog prince healer, and that getting all the frogs stoned will transform him into human form and allow him to distribute magical homeopathic cancer therapy - which would obviously not be a solid, scientific starting point. So if you could give a general outline what your hypotheses are and a basic experimental design concept - not necessarily in detail such that your idea might be appropriated, we could offer advice about its feasibility and suggest potential collaborators and advisers on the project. As far as I know photosynthetic byproducts in marijuana are no different than most other photosynthetic plants that grow in similar environments.
