Reference manager software help

Featured Replies

Hi everyone.

I have started looking for a reference manager software to implement in my workflow and use from now afterwards.

I have looked at a few and have been impressed by qiqqa.

Do you have any experience/suggestion in this field?

I have been using Endnote and Refmanager, but at some point I switched to Zotero and Mendelay (the latter both being free and made it easier to sort through my gazillion of pdfs).

Just spent some time with Mendeley. Very wonderful, Just what I was looking for.

Don't like endnote.

I used referencer, it's very simple, yet does everything I wanted (tags, notes, import DOI codes, scrape data from pdf, link to pdf files etc...) it's only a linux program though (or pretty much was when I started using it).

Several of my friends use Mendeley on windows, it seems rather good, it'd be my recommendation for windows I think.

What ever you end up using ensure it exports to bibtex!
