Is it possible that all life in the universe can extinct

Short of the scenario robheus speaks of I would say no, life will not ever be extinct as long as planets can form and exist around stars. Are you suggesting that life on earth is the only life or asking if life on earth can become extinct then yes, it will become extinct in a few billion years for sure. It's doubtful the conditions that allowed life to form on the earth will be repeated after the earth is sterilized by the death of the sun...
