A definition of time

Which means both Science and Physics in my book.

In fact the full question was

Since that post was a direct reply to my question aboveI took the emboldened part to mean yes.

I am attempting to clarify any ambiguity in my response. I was thinking of physics. Physics definitions tend to have a mathematical basis.

Let us leave it that Physics is the most highly mathematical of all sciences (after maths itself of course).

Time is a physical definition like mass and length. We can make our time by using a clock. Atomic clock is used for measuring our time. Why do we use the atomic clock as our standard time? We live in the atom(containing electron, proton, neutron and photon) based word. And until now, atomic clock has fitted well on the predicted value of Relativity theory.
