where do people get there glassware from eg conical flasks in the UK, both from web sites and shops, what companys

I got all mine from ebay.

I get my at Mikro+Polo.

There's some on ebay but not too much, That's funny you should ask as I've been emailing companies yesterday and a few have got back to me who deal with the public, I'll get the info to you when I get some. lol.

Do they deal with the public? as they dont seem to. :(

I don`t know to be honest, I`ve never asked. sorry :(

Thats ok, that why I've been mass emailing to find which do and do not sell to the public, lol.

has anybody ever bought ther glassware from http://www.rich-mond.com its second hand equipment based in the UK and i was just wondering if they sell to the public if somebody has bought glassware of them then they obivously do. i hope so :D its based in wigan

could somebody else try sending a email to info@rich-mond.com to see if they sell glassware to the public i sent an email three days ago and still i have no reply maybe they will reply to me soon some ones which i have sent an email to i didnt get a reply to in weeks

would you say £25 is cheap for a graham condenser because i am really tempted to buy one because i think that is cheap

From where? United Nuclear? Or some company in UK? I think £25 for one is somewhat cheap.

yes it was from united nuclear, i was going to order it but i read they do not ship international any more i only thought that was for chemicals but its not its for every thing

still i have found a graham condenser on ebay.com which comes to £28 including delivery insurance plus the condenser

They don't ship ANYTHING internationally anymore? Goddammit. :(

i have found a graham condenser for £29.58 its at http://www.flaig.freeserve.co.uk/j6a.htm but its only 160mm will that be enough distance to make nitric acid from potassium nitrate and sulphuric acid for the fumes to condense there is another one at £53 and thats 300mm but i also need to get more glassware

does anybody Know if fisher scientific sell glassware to the public

ahhhh I just had one of my beakers crack. I dont understand why though... weird.

lance where do you get your beakers from all the comapnys that do sell glassware to the public usualy sell them in packs of 10 which is no good really

I got mine from a guy on ebay who was selling a whole set.

Most of the stuff like the ringstand is for people with a bunsen burner though.
