cowboy bebop and hellsing are the best of anime i have seen so far. gundam wing isnn't bad either

Akira is pretty nuts although I was pretty disappointed with ghost in the machine.

 

Have you seen the Beserk series. Didn't watch it all but caught the end, vbery messed up movie.

 

Ninja scroll is a classic also.

I didn't like Ninja Scroll, but it is a classic nonetheless. It seems like you would like serial experiments lain. Have you seen that?

FLCL. Only six episodes, but it has everything: metaphors about growing up, finding oneself, being true to who you really are... And Haruko in a Playboy Bunny costume :P...

Its not all great. One example of the finer points of anime is 'the origin of O-ren' chapter from Kill Bill vol.1. Very tidy. The animatrix is pretty ok too for a bit more of a mainstream take on it.

Evangelion wasn't bad, Vampire hunter D is old but still good stuff, Ninja scroll...good times..I'll watch most anime, just cause it's all dang cool

Serial Experiments Lain was just... weird. Weird and a bit pointless.

I love dragon ball z, dont like the GT series much, didnt have enough piccolo or vegeta, and they made trunks into a sissy boy :-( other than that i dont mind friutbasket, hellsing is great, and while it lacks the adultness, u gotta love hamtaro, just for the cuteness :P

Dragon ball Z, Naruto, Bleach, Gundam, Yu Yu Hakusho, Dai Guard, and Angel Beats are just some of the kind of anime I like

Everyone loves the flashing violence of Dragon Ball Z.

 

 

I used to love watching Dragon Ball, a lot of petty talk during the fights though as I remember it! I liked the Cell games, that must have been around 10 years ago at least. You can see a lot of these battles on youtube still it's pretty cool.
