Sgu

I watched and enjoyed it. It's a fresh twist, and they can really do a lot with the new platform they've built for themselves. They also did a great job with early character development, so I'm hopeful. In my experience, far too often some of the syfy stuff fails some pretty basic criteria of a good series. I didn't get that from last nights episode, and it reminded me a bit of BSG, which is good.

I must concede, though... I'm not a very tough critic. I've long enjoyed the SG series, and I'll watch it even if it's crap.

Folks can watch for themselves here:

I did like it. I had a few issues with their choices:

Overall I enjoyed it and it did have more of a BSG feel because of the dystopian nature of the cast and situation. It wasn't "edgy" the way BSG was in shocking you with new ideas/twists/dystopian choices - on that front it felt very SG1.

Overall I love scifi shows and I'll definitely have to keep watching it.

It's what I wanted Atlantis to be like a [hide]parital SGC cut off from all other human contact having to fend for themsleves.[/hide]

I'm not sure about it.....it's like a cross between Stargate and Voyager

Well if they find Amelia Earhart in another galaxy I'll be turning it off for good. :D
