everytime i try to use the 'new posts' function the forum returns an out of memory error.

 

i've seen this happen with carnac before but not the search function.

The same problem appeared for me but then magically disappeared.

i'm still getting them

I just got it when I tried to go from page 1 to page 2 on the "Today's Posts" search results...

I've had it intermittently.

That's only six megabytes... the memory limit is supposed to be much higher than that.

 

I'll look into it.

It's more like 64 MB.

Yeah, I forgot to copy the last digit, so I came out a bit low. Very odd. I'll see if I can find the problem.

I've just had the same problem trying to access page 2 of Today's Posts. I can access page 3 and 1. I've restarted firefox and tried again to access page 2 with the same fatal error.

Someone must have rebooted. That fixes everything.

I also just got another one...

Let me know if you get any more. I just edited the offending function to use built-in PHP functions instead of the weird hack Jelsoft had implemented. It should no longer give problems.
