I know it is just semantics but as I implied before, when I see or hear the word "Judaism", I think of a religion.

AgentChange, thats true, certain sects might lean more towards Jewish Law in that sense, while others might be more... open.

You could say that they all started out in the same area: Middle East/Mediterranean, but there have been hundreds, if not thousands of years of splitting apart and migration.

So personally, I think that calling "jews" an ethnicity is silly. However, there are plenty of people out there who think otherwise.

 

But I would like to add, the people on this site are very open. and that makes it easy.

True. But I don't think in what country one currently resides alone determines one's ethnicity.

As I said at the beginning of the thread... Put children of both groups into a room and they play just fine. Their hate is taught, so stop teaching hate.

No, they certainly do fit that definition.

However, history, language, traditions (include those of food), and myths, can all be included in the "religion" category.
