He doesn't even remotely resemble the slightest thing that might in some distant galaxy start to infinitesmally be related to intelligence.

Yoops. I forgot about him, and so quickly.

I kinda miss some of his proposed ideas. To bad he couldn't accept any proofs or common sense arguments that he was wrong.

He's an exeption to the post rule.

You're more intelligent than me? :P

I'm old and I'm crabby, Humor me.:cool2: :cool2:

You'll soon get to tear my ideas apart when I feel well enough and clear enough to toss something original out.

Do I sound like Zarkov yet?

Nope, you already admit you're not infallable :P

You're only ahead by 7 now :P

unlike someone i know ^

Of course, you usually are right. But you were wrong just recently about where glycolysis occurs. (which is in the cytosol).

Other than that, I can't really think of an instance where you have been wrong

Bah. Everyone knows that glycolysis just produces pyruvate for the tricarboxylic acid cycle, so I might have included that, which takes place in the mitochondria (only in eukaryotes).

tricarboxylic acid cycle, haha. you and my former bio professor are the only two people i've ever heard refer to it as 'tricarboxylic'. Us average joes prefer "krebs", which, owned me last year.

  • Author

Well they call it tricarboxylic acid cycle in my cell and molec book. I guess it's just how it works in upper level biology classes, something which you're not yet familiar with.

Much like you're unfamiliar with upper level chemistry courses, right? :D

[of course, so am I :embarass:]

Looks like I've just taken the lead =)

In related news, I reset Zarkov's post count, he no longer appears on the top 10 list. For the record, he had 434 posts.

Ya got me Faf. It's just we've had so many intelligent posts lately and you just handle them so well. I'll still jump in but I don't think I'll catch you now. #2 ain't bad.

you can still catch me... after all, your average posts per day is still higher than mine

It's just that we've had a lot of really great tech. questions and I have to admit I can't answer without research and you come up and hit the nail on the head. I'm learning along as it goes since I'm disabled and got tons of time and with my age I'm growing a little wiser. That is fun to share.

Highly technical discussion is my vision for the site :)

But of course, I love reading the thoughts of everyone, especially you.

So when are some of these future Nobel prize winners here gonna post something that really knocks my socks off. I see a lot of potential and I think even Hawking might have some fun here.

I'll just sit back and watch it grow.

Yah, thanks Sayonara.

I've been exploring there too.
