The Science Labs Beauty Contest!

:D @ me;

You can tell stories here (and post pictures) about (of) the most ugly and the most fancy labs you ever visitid [or know about]. As a meteorologist I spend most of my time in the back of a truck. The equipment is very old - 286 computers, and some "releatively" new laptops. The heat inside is well over 40 celsius. We call it the Auschwitz Lab, and often make jokes about the Holocaust when we're inside of it. :lame:

I put mine forwards as candidate #2 in the "Most Disorganised" catagory :)

and I won`t shame myself by taking any pictures of it either LOL ;)

Uh, visit USF. Our organic chemistry (student) labs are probably the most horrific lab I've ever stepped in. Even the general chemistry students have better labs :o Pictures coming soon.

The actual research labs are pretty high-tech and well kept. I was suprised. But the student labs ::shudder::

My home lab can definately compete for most disorganized, i have experiments in various stages in 10 different locations, and I wind up discarding half the stuff because I forgot what it was. :/

On the other end, I've been to a few of the labs in the medical schools brand new research center. absolutely amazing.

Cool, I`m not the only one that does that too then :)

I wouldn`t mind, but I`ve got a box full of labels for them that`s never been opened !
