Could be confronting to realise how much you don't know and how much of what you thought you knew was wrong. And how big and daunting the task of learning all over again can be.

Rather than bringing confidence and certainty it may bring the opposite.

First I discovered an old friend of mine was a narcissist, then I discovered after much further digging he was also a narcopath.

Both unpleasent discoveries.

IQ doesn't make people smarter, just expands their awareness.

Indeed, how often do some people get angry, when you innocently ask them to explain how <insert true fact> actually works; and it's true throughout the IQ bandwidth/spectrum/humanity...

Ever wondered WHY you have such a negative instinct towards intelligence?

I've linked a Youtube video that offers some explanation. I think it goes a bit over the top in places, but that's Australians for you. I know you won't actually watch it, and even if you did, you wouldn't be able to let yourself learn anything positive from it...

We're in the Lounge! (... and just how did you assess a 50 minute clip within 20 minutes of me posting it? Another mindless kneejerk reaction?)
