Hi

Some time ago, i've heard that Gazan couldn't go away to avoid the bombs

I understood that if they tried to leave Gaza, they were physically prevented/shot

Is it true?

I understood that some are leaving these days, like without hiding, were they allowed to leave all this time?

The subject is not about "to go where"

regards

Well, all the news reports are that Gaza is sealed up by Egypt and Israel. Where did you see reports of Gazans being allowed to leave? The only leaving I've seen is people being forced to evacuate Gaza City and flee to temporary refugee camps elsewhere in the Strip. Where many are now starving.

I'm wondering that since the war started, if there are any news reporting about some Gazans trying to go beyond the seal. I mean just to leave Gaza, or leave the refugee camps

I've heard about some Gazans getting shot when trying to go get some food packages

I haven't see any reports telling Gazans were allowed to leave, i've just saw some youtube thumbnail with some text about some Gazans leaving Gaza

If you want information I suggest not to rely on youtube. If you have no access to other articles, you can check out wikipedia, which is at least better:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blockade_of_the_Gaza_Strip

In short, Gaza has seen a number of restrictions with the latest effectively sealing them in (you can read the recent timeline in the wiki article). Also of note, the only airport they had was destroyed some 20 years ago.

In Gaza, while there are designated refugee camps, they are largely integrated into the areas that are not considered camps. But basically half of the population live in the supported area. Any geographic distinction between camp and no camp is somewhat superficial, considering the population density.

This is not about leaving, but about mismanagement (to put it mildly) of providing food to Gazans by IDF and contractors.

It might help to get a bit of a view of how Gaza looks like. This is an older article, but has illustrations:

The Gaza Strip explained in maps

The Gaza Strip has been under an Israeli-imposed land, sea and air blockade for the past 16 years.

I appreciate the info you provided, but it's still not clear to me

If you will, let's imagine a man in Gaza, a regular Gazan

Suddenly he wants to leave Gaza, on foot, one step after another, either to go in Israel, either in Egypt

What next, walls/fences everywhere?

Try to climb = shot?

No wall -> pass = shot? jail?

Go around the wall by water = shot?

I am not sure what you are asking. If you are wondering whether there is fencing, yes it is outlined in the provided article. Could they bypass it? I mean theoretically. After all Hamas got out of the Gaza strip to commit atrocities. But unarmed individuals? Especially now? No chance. Especially considering that the IDF has documented cases of killing unarmed folks (including children) even if they do not attempt to enter a secured zone....

I was just wondering if gazans can walk out of Gaza, like to go in another country

And if there are some walls or fences, i'm wondering if they try to bypass it, do they get shot

@https://www.unocha.org/publications/report/occupied-palestinian-territory/movement-and-out-gaza-update-covering-january-2022

I read:

Palestinians are banned from leaving Gaza via Israel

Could they leave by Egypt...
It looks like they can by some "Rafah crossing"

@https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rafah_Border_Crossing:

Various sources reported that for several weeks, the Egyptian government had refused to allow either Gazans or foreign nationals to exit Gaza via the Rafah crossing

Although on internet I read that more than 100k gazans were allowed to leave by there

i'm not really interested to learn more about this mess

Gaza is the new Jews. They were exterminated by the Jews. Those who survived the Holocaust, their children, and grandchildren became war criminals who did the same thing as the Nazis.. but in slightly different ways.. but still for the same purpose, namely extermination...

According to netanjahu et al, they could disappear into nothingness, into oblivion...
