Tebori vs Machine Tattoo

Featured Replies

Hi,

Tattoos made by machine will fade over time. I have heard that tebori tattoos (hand poked tattoos like they do in Japan) instead will look better as time goes. Is this true and if so why?

I don’t know if this is true or not, however suspect quality and persistence of the tattoo is more about depth of puncture and amount of ink inserted than it is about whether the applicator is a machine/pen/gun or a more traditional tool poked by hand.
