How do you post a spoiler?

Featured Replies

I have forgotten how to post a clue to a puzzle and make it only viewable to those who click on the button.

Here's how to do it ... Spoiler alert ...

You write [ spoiler ] here the text you don't want to spoil unwanted [ / spoiler ] but without any spaces in the square brackets

Function,

Thank you for that.

My excuse for not knowing how to do it will be a secret between you and me, except for those who want to know.

Spoiler alert! Excuse explained here.

I feel like when you find out what that password was that your forgot. "Well of course!" I knew that."

Regards, TAR

It's also in the "special BBCode" dropdown menu (3rd from left) when you are writing your post, if you are the the mode that enables it. (click on the switch, all the way to the left, if you aren't)

Highlight the text and then click on the "spoiler" choice in the list

thanks swansont
I did not know that button gave you the drop down choices
always wondered what that button did as when you pressed it, nothing happen (apparently)

So this is the moment where commenting in spoilers actually becomes a thing. But nice button, I always ignored its existance. Thanks swan
