Are all things within the universe mostly made of mass or energy?

Featured Replies

Hi guys. Does anybody have the answer to this question? I'm really struggling with this one.

Dark matter and dark energy are two such things, although they are matter and energy in name. They are really some confusing stuffs.

Mass and energy are properties of things, not are not themselves "things". It would be like asking if the skin of a banana is made of yellow (or green).

But everything has energy, and everything that's not a fundamental boson has mass.

As far as I have learnt, I know that the Higgs boson is responsible for the mass of all other non-bosons.
