  1. It is clearly written how to find moles in gramm. what you said is also the same thing.
  2. Find conversions using this equations: MOLES TO GRAMS (moles --> grams)* Mol Substance x Molar Mass Substance GRAMS TO MOLES (grams --> moles)* Mass (g) Substance x 1 mol substance FORMULA UNITS TO GRAMS (formula units --> moles --> grams)* Formula Units x 1 mol ----------------- x -------------- Molar mass (g) ---------- Avogadro's number (formula units) ----------- 1 mol GRAMS TO FORMULA UNITS (grams --> moles --> formula units)* ---Mass substance (g) x 1 mol substance ------ x ----- Avogadro's number ------------------------ Molar Mass (g) substance ----------- 1 mol substance
  3. First, let VA represent the volume of liquid A, and let VB represent the volume of liquid B, in 1 kg of mixture. Then, 850x(VA+VB) = 1 kg (of mixture). In addition, 1000VA+600VB = 1 kg (of mixture). We have here two equations with two unknowns (VA and VB). Solve for VB. The mass of liquid B in 1 kg of mixture is 600VB, which is equal to 264.7 grams.
  4. 1. Read Schumann Frequency resonance blogs to know clear idea about a natural frequency of earth. 2. Have you ever heard about Cosmic Neutrino background? This is the interesting thing you must know. Well As per my point of view, the fundamental law of nature are invariant. If it was discovered that a law actually changed from place to place or from time to time, then it would not be considered a fundamental law of nature any more. 3. I am still thinking why you asked such silly questions like this?

  6. I agree, but in this case we just have to put values in related equations which I have guided here.
  7. My attempt at solving it: a) 1.2 sin(α)= 0.8 sin(α)= 0.8 / 1.2 sin(α)= 2/3 α= sin^-1(2/3) α= 41.8 degrees So his crossing velocity is: 1.2 cos41.80= 0.894 m/s And the time taken is: distance = speed * time 550= 0.894 * t t= 550 / 0.894 t=615.21 seconds b) 550 / 1.2 = 458.3 seconds distance = speed x time distance = 0.80 m/s x 458.3s = 366.6 m
  8. Hi, swansont According to me, When lightning travels from clouds to the ground, it opens a little hole, or channel, in the air. Once the lightening disappears, the hole collapses and reverts back inwards. The resulting sound is thunder. Light travels at a rate of 186,282 miles per second, allowing the human eye to see a flash of lightning immediately as it happens. Sounds travels at the much slower rate of 1,087 feet, or one-fifth of a mile per second. The rate at which the sound waves travel varies, depending on the temperature of the air and the wind's speed. Thunder appears to rumble or roll at times due to zigzag lines, or forks, that occur when lightning that strikes is not visible. These forks can branch out over several miles. These branches of lightning are further from the ground; therefore, they produce sounds of thunder, which take longer to be heard than the large bolt of lightning that originally produced the branched-out forks.

    Massless things

Are there any other things/objects in our universe that are massless other than Gluons and Photons? I guess energy is massless, but it's not so much a thing, more-so a property.
  10. They happen at the same time. But since light travels faster than sound, you see the lightning before you hear the thunder.
  11. As per my point of view, Mathematical Modeling consists of simplifying Real World problems and representing them as Mathematical problems(Mathematical Model), solving the mathematical problems and interpreting these solutions in language of the Real World. In simple form- Conversion of Real World phenomena under certain conditions into Mathematical formulation is known as Mathematical Modeling. A list of applications All areas mentioned have numerous mathematical challenges Anthropology Modeling, classifying and reconstructing skulls Archaeology Reconstruction of objects from preserved fragments Classifying ancient artifices Architecture Virtual reality Artificial intelligence Computer vision Image interpretation Robotics Speech recognition Optical character recognition Reasoning under uncertainty
  12. The plus-minus sign (±) is a mathematical symbol with multiple meanings. Their use has been extended to many other meanings, more or less analogous. Plus and minus are Latin terms meaning "more" and "less", respectively.
  13. Hi, you can find more details in this link. https://map.gsfc.nasa.gov/universe/uni_matter.html
  14. As per my knowledge, As the current flowing around the core increases, the number of aligned atoms increases and the stronger the magnetic field becomes. At least, up to a point. Sooner or later, all of the atoms that can be aligned will be aligned. At this point, the magnet is said to be saturated and increasing the electric current flowing around the core no longer affects the magnetization of the core itself and If you was using a metal detector, It will cause the metal detector to sense current stronger for sort time of period.
  15. Excellent work is done by you. Calculations become easy after this technique. Generally, I use online tools to work on maths related problems. But this seems quite interesting & useful to all.
  16. I have also provided one link which is related to this topic in brief. I hope you will also enjoy that extra information.
  17. Hey, I come across this two facts. I hope this will help you to find out perfect answer. https://www.cancer.gov/about-cancer/causes-prevention/risk/radiation/cell-phones-fact-sheet Another fact is, the potential health risk associated with any device that emits electromagnetic energy also depends on the nature of the radiation, specifically, its frequency.X rays are a form of ionizing radiation. Since the radiation from mobile phones can’t break chemical bonds, it can’t cause a mutation to the DNA molecules in our cells, and therefore most scientists agree it can’t cause the damage that leads to cancer.
  18. Definition: The golden ratio, also known as the divine proportion, golden mean, or golden section, is a number often encountered when taking the ratios of distances in simple geometric figures such as the pentagon, pentagram, decagon and dodecahedron. It is denoted, or sometimes. Using The Golden Ratio to Calculate Fibonacci Numbers The Golden Ratio to calculate Fibonacci Series: The answer will be equal to the addition of the previous two terms, as a whole number: I.E.: When I used an online calculator for this, I only enter the Golden Ratio to 6 decimal places & I got the answer 8.00000033. A more accurate calculation would be closer to 8.
  19. If n = 1 1 x (1+1)² 1 x 2² =4 << First number of the sequnce If n = 2 2 x (2+1)² 2 x 3² =18 << Second number of the sequence and so on.. The Next Number is 180.
  20. Oh ok, I recently read about it so shared here. By the way thanks for detailed information.
  21. The word hundred is derived from the word “hundrath”, which actually means 120 and not 100.
  22. You can find more than 200 math or science related tools at http://www.ashbox.com
  23. In my opinion, we know that empty space is full of particles and their antiParticles popping in and out of existence but that mean that empty space is not nothing !!! in fact its something with its own characteristics !!
  24. Thanks For the information. Can you please send a link? so that everyone can take advantage of it.
  25. I think, The bulk of scientific knowledge concludes that it’s impossible, especially when considering Einstein’s Theory of Relativity.
