  1. Yes it would be nice if science concurred with religion but unfortunately, I believe that is surreal, a total "fantasy" like happy ever-after; there are other theories or options in answer to the B.B. but as science progresses, I feel the answers are probably not to everyones liking; but then the truth seldom is....us.2u
  2. As obviously Mars does contain H2o, as to how much who knows? do you know if methane exists here Ophiolite? I guess if Mars is supporting life of any degree that would be a fantastic surprise! So I indeed think Martins report like you said Ophiolite is noteworthy indeed....us.2u
  3. I think the above post is certainly agreeable but many peolple believe Aliens have already visited us; I remain rather skeptic about that, as I said so many reports... so little evidence...us.2u
  4. If Aliens really do exist can they possibly visit Earth, & come through our Atmosphere without burning up? do they have heat-shields? In all honesty I can only see Aliens visiting Earth as a sci-fi story; If so many stories of aliens have been reported why is there so little proof that they've arrived here?...us.2u
  5. These are true experiments not human "imaginations" that have actually taken place;fortunately true science, is not tunnel visioned & yes at a later date I will reveal all as to when I see fit (If I want To) but if the recourse is to reading mild profanities or any profanities at all; then I have no interest to hold mutual respect or to redress this subject yours politely..us2u
  6. MECHANICAL ACCELERATION:- The mechanical Accelerator combines both centrifugal & gravitional forces. A revolving ball was used in experiments which obtained an energy velocity which doubled after each impulse & amazingly, after twenty impulses more energy was manifested than was originally required to accelerate the ball! It will be able to lift great weights & to overcome Earth's gravitional field by developing it's own gravitional field. It is also thought that an object powered by this method could be suspended in mid-air & move at an incredible velocity, maybe even exceeding....'The Speed Of Light'.......us2u PROPULSIVE METHOD: Developed by by the USSR Acadamy of sciences.... 'Think of all the wild imaginings that have become reality during the last two decades, & we have only got our fingers on the threshold of scientific development....nobody can deny that there must be powers we cannot yet conceive...us2u

  8. You maybe correct but from the time the moon ceased to exist to the time a new moon created it's-self; I believe our Earth would be flooded or deeply frozen & we would all be dead absolutely no life whatsoever...The end caput finato...us.2u
  9. Well surely we would all drown as there would be no control of our tidal forces am I correct? or is it hearsay that the moon controls our tides?...us.2u
  10. I'm trying to get details on the Ion engine meanwhile here is some interesting DATA http://www.grc.nasa.gov/WWW/K-12/airplane/shortr.html
  11. This site may be of interest to you Xavier...us.2u http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/
  12. Excuse me if I'm incorrect but personally I feel the bible only relates to recent history...I guess the reason why when we go back to millions of years I can find nothing relevant in the bibles history...e.g. Dinosaurs, & before...
  13. Thank you for that link Ophiolite it's a great source of info......it's a pity some other 'Astronomers' didn't stick to the topics of 'Astronomy' rather than pick fault, & doing so, making themselves a few light-years off topic...oh-welll WHATEVER...us.2u
  14. As these are the nearest solar stars like our sun; doe's anyone know if they have a planetary orbit around them? my guess is probably (no) & that we will never find ETI....us.2u
  15. I have found a relative web-link which briefly explains the future...'When the sun becomes a super-nova' if anyone is interested I'll post the link willingly......us.2u
  16. Thanks nomadd 22 what have you got to back up this reference you giv me?....us.2u
  17. When the sun burns out approx 5B years time can any of the solar system planets survive? or will they all go with the sun?....us.2u
  18. Have you any idea how this interaction of hydrogen atoms I prsume that's what you mean? deploys it's-self? This sounds really interesting Blackhole looking forward to your reply...us.2u
  19. Maybe gravity is the ultimate strongest force that we know of; but I wonder if there are forces that are indeed stronger & maybe faster?..It seems to me the gravity inside a black hole has the strongest capability, but maybe I'm incorrect who knows?........ Anyone?...us.2u
  20. This link hopefully might be of some interest to you....us.2u http://www.magicdragon.com/ComputerFutures/SpacePublications/Mercury_Ice.html
  21. Hi Ophiolite as you are a geologist I was thinking about the planet we inhabit & here is a question....do you think our own world, & pherhaps other planets too; could be expanding? The reason I ask is about our planet in particular in it's ancient history the land mass was all but one, then over a long period of time the land mass drifted to become various countries...which makes me think our planet is swelling like a balloon. If you pasted paper onto a balloon representing basic landmass then blew the balloon to an appreciable size the effect is quite remarkable drifting continents...( 'IN PAPER') But I thought; ahh, maybe that is what is happening in reality to our planet & others in our galaxy; as yet I have no proof that this is indeed happening, that is why I'm asking you Ophiolite before this idea is dismissed as highly unlikely do you think this could be possible?...us.2u
  22. Crusty Ass I like your posts especially life in abundance & maybe there is ETI out-there & proberly super to ours & that's why they avoid us; coz even SETI can't pick them up! Either that or we're definately sadly ALONE!...us.2u
  23. Doe's the same set of rules apply to extra-solar planets?
  24. I was thinking; if the lochness monster does exist could she or her family be survivors from the KT boundary? & maybe there could be other water reptiles still living from that period; but what I do find hard to accept there has never been an attack on man or it's craft in dear old Lochness.. 'presuming all these creatures' I would have thought to be predatory, the reason I put this post here if by some means the story is true & other survival of creatures from that period have survived... wouldn't it be amazing if that huge metorite didn't wipe all the Dinos out afterall?....us.2u
  25. Yes I'm aware of Newtonians law & his formula F= Gm1,Gm2 over D2 where G=gravitational constant & also realise the forces of attraction are necessary to keep the planets moving in their curved paths around the sun. And without this force they would move straight out into space...also the required force I realise is by the suns own gravity which I presume pulls the planets towards it but the combination of the planets forward motion & motion under their gravity must keep them in orbit around the sun...yeah? Now is this gravity uniform throughout the universe? can we measure it if so how & what would be the correct equation? phew I feel like giving up am I dense? ...us.2u
