  1. To be openly honest syntax 252 I'm not sure either but we are definately not stationary hence our one year which it takes us to orbit our sun...us.2u Also I think with the amount of mass our Earth has & the speed it revolves (1000 mph approx) I think & believe this has something to do with why our gravity is stronger than that of our moon;I may be wrong sorry if this is misleading but hopefully someone with greater knowledge will support my theory or explain otherwise...us.2u

  3. O.K. before you set the wild pigs on me & have an indifference about my personal aroma; would it be too much to ask you, O educated one, to ask for advice to help me be more effecient on how to operate the edit buttons, so as to take your advice on learning how to use them? Then hopefully there will be no more abrupt instructions; mind you my main interest is the science of astronomy not grammar,I'm sure that belongs to a more related thread but you'll proberly be indifferent to that statement....us.2u
  4. "It's nice to be important" " But far more important to be nice!".....us.2u
  5. I believe we are rotating causing centrifugal force in turn creating our gravity I think if we were stationary there would be no gravity & we would be all lost in space I think that's correct...us.2u

  7. Why are you unkind with your statement? please explain I'm only too happy to comply...us.2u

  14. Well you're probarly right 5614 but I will close on this thread; as Sayonara, to me at least has finished my quest for the answer I was looking, for it makes a lot of sense to me... Sayonara..."EUREEKA! YOU'VE FOUND IT" Please don't think I'm being sarcastic I'm not, but I think you are proberly the most intellectual on here; also a lot of others I believe are close; but at the begining of my post when I asked "what is the speed of dark" yours is the only answer in my humble mind I can accept....Thank-you....us.2u
  15. Thank you all; basically I understand as radio waves are not physical energy, I think that's what everyone is saying which makes sense to me once again thank-you...us.2u
  16. Well done Sayonara; your doughnut theory is absolutely excelent... that hole as we interpetate it is indeed nothing, but yet it has a speed as it's governed by the matter that surrounds it! Now I wonder if there is a principal here by your theory, maybe the basis of how black holes work? WE know they are there; can we see them? I don't know can their power come from a source ouside or is their power only within? I don't know but it's great asking all you guys because unlike me you're all clever thanks for all your posts everyone it's great learning....US.2U
  17. I agree with Sayonara; 5614 you only supprt your own opinion but have no conclusive proof, unless I have misinterpertated your explanation, & if I have I apologise but as far as I see light & dark are equal in speeds...us.2u

  19. So when that radio communincation traveling at the speed of light should break the sound barrier? so if all these radio waves are doing just that why are't we hearing constant booms each time the sound barrier is broken?...us.2u
  20. I presume all manned spacecraft when in space break the sound barrier; so can anyone enlighten me, that when the astronauts are traveling faster than sound, how & why is it possible for radio communications with that craft in space to us here on Earth? because if they've broken the sound barrier it dosen't seem feasible we could hear them us.2u
  21. Well I'm not the only one to believe dark has the same speed of light, whether or not this subject seems to be tiring; I feel 186,000 miles per sec is right & no one can or has proved any different for whatever reason.... presumeably because there isn't one I sincerely believe dark & light are the same speed:- until anyone; & I challange anyone to absolutely prove me incorrect I will continue to believe dark is a matter & has speed....I very much doubt if there is any conclusive proof to the contary ....us.2u
  22. Hopefully.....SO now we've come this far do you think all colour has the same speed as light?...I do whether it's black, white green or whatever if it's dark we see it at the same time as any colour so to me the speed of light, dark, & colour are all of the same speed & property can any-one prove different? not summise but prove?...us.2u
  23. Absolutely IMHO I believe this has never really been questioned before & never really been thought of. Why I raise this question are for these simple basic facts...Dark is out-there; in that darkness, darkness supports the whole universe as we know it so in my humble mind I can't accept dark as nothing; I feel dark is a matter as to what exactly I don't know...yet. But let's study a photograph I believe the negative (Non-light) is a kind of light & positive (light) so I believe light & dark are of the same value or dark could be - 186,000 miles per second. But whatever, dark is all around us & can reach us at exactly the same point in time as "light" so to me I feel there speed must be equal....us.2u:-)
  24. According to Dictionary.com, dark is a deep hue or colour so what is the speed of the colour black?...us.2u
