  1. At last well-done Nevermore that's the only logic I can possibly conclude I totally agree with your Quote.....for all those who don't I very much doubt if they can prove otherwise as IMHO everything we know of is equally balanced...us.2u
  2. This seems a tough cookie to answer 5614 kind of leaves us all in the dark-yeah!....us.2u
  3. I sort of understand 5614 but after your post Cadmus I wonder... if after all dark doe's indeed have a property of it's own, as it supports the whole universe doe's it not? it supports every planet that we know of in fact it supports everything we know of out-there; but yet so many are quick to disregard dark as nothing when I believe IMHO it is quite something proberly half of everything....now there's an equation?....us.2u
  4. I may be incorrect, only too ready to be corrected if proven wrong; but IMHO I feel I have the right to question very much indeed if there is a relavant speed to dark;this might seem a sheer nonsense to you & others, but so did a lot of facts which seemed ridiculous at the time only to be proven later;I could say the same about light how can light have a "speed" "The light car was travelling at an x amount of speed" everyone takes for granted light has a measured speed so why not dark? If I am incorrect... all I ask is simple proof no-one has offered that yet have they?...So again until proven to the contary "What is the speed of dark?"....us.2u
  5. I don't know if darkness has any properties of it's own or whatever but let's all agree it sure helps us to see what is out in space i.e. Stars, Planets, Moons, etc, so my belief: darkness is definately not Nothing but everything! because without it we would have no Astronomy & proberly we would not exist at all, so IMHO I thank the Dark & light for giving me life which I enjoy....your thoughts?....us.2u
  6. In conversation we were talking about Terra-bytes two years ago I don't think the media have a use for domestic purposes just one terra-byte is awesome....us.2u
  7. If there is a diifference between non-visible light & darkness doe's anyone know? please explain, I believe without darkness we would not be able to understand light & vice-versa as they are extreme opposites I believe they both have energy & in all retrospect we only undestand one of them...."Light" I believe everyone looks at darkness as a void a nothing but IMHO I believe that to be incorrect: I believe darkness has a power we do not understand if anyone doe's; please explain simply, or is the power of darkness more complicated than everyone imagined?...us.2u
  8. Well doe's darkness exist? or do we imagine it's existance? Sometimes I wonder if darkness is an invisible entity made up of unknown molecules & like everything in our Universe seems to have an opposite making an equal; could darkness be 186,000 seconds in reverse so that we don't see it? just an idea; "so light is measured in photons" maybe dark could be measured in neg-photons this is indeed a strange topic... I guess we're all in the dark....us.2u
  9. Doe's dark have speed? can darkness be measued? or is it Zero I wonder coz light travels (186,000 miles per second) yet darkness is faster coz it's here but if they both have speeds what's dividing them or in between? or am I quoting sheer nonsense? I don't know but I've never heard anyone question whether darkness has a speed; everyone seems to take for granted, it doesen't!...I don't...us.2u
  10. I used to like Charles & Diana & thought what a great example to us all until the ugliness set in IMHO now I don't really care what they do I just hope the lads (Charle's sons) are o.k. with idea of it... & that they don't feel offended but after this; Charles as King......Nah
  11. Definately no harm done here I'm not offended by any one's post, you all help me to understand a little more each day I thank you all; in the end I believe most of you ( The majority) are as of the same belief as me referring to Dinos end. Good poems Azores phoenix well-done...us.2u & thank you too for your insights Sandi...us.2u

  13. I'm still looking for the black hole swallowing in matter faster than the speed of light...us.2u
  14. http://www.universetoday.com/html/dailyarchive/article2000-0606.html Another story faster than the speed of light(300 times faster?)
  15. http://www.universetoday.com/am/publish/astronomers_watch_black_hole_eat.html?1092004 Dear 5614 more to follow soon ...us.2u
  16. Dear 5614 I will do my best to find the whole story of the black hole in question it will take me a while but please bear with me as I am adamant I will find this one; I realise there is nothing to talk about until I find it; thank you for your previous post about apparent speeds that seemed faster than light but this is not the story I read the one I read said if a spacecraft could travel from here to the moon it would take 10 seconds well let's wait until I can find the whole story..us.2u
  17. Well if what I read is correct that this black hole was swallowing in matter at something like 10 times the speed of light, then MC2 is obviously not our ultimate equation is it? & wouldn't we be reaching beyond the realms of relativity? mind you having noted all this; God knows what any sciencetist uses.. to measure matter, faster than the speed of light? I'm no mathmatician but these seem to me; incredible claims if true... where do we go from here?
  18. Can this phenomena be taken seriously? or just dreamt up in the sci-fi world? if this could be true would one defy the speed of light? I believe light is not the fastest thing we know of, because I believe I read that a certain black hole was swallowing in matter at speeds superceeding light; & the measure was almost equal (if craft could travel at that speed) from Earth... to Earths moon in 10 seconds; Wow! I thought, Please check this claim out I believe it to be true; so would time travel be eventually possible? what doe's everone think?...us.2u
  19. I like your post it is good not to mention the real thing...coke
  20. Thanks for your insight Sandie it's true that I don't understand intense English as I'm hardly articulate in my vocabulary most of my curriculum is self taught so my words of meaning, are not so vast & prolific as I would like them to be, but I do try I will say my beliefs are certainly strong; so if I'm preaching to the choir... let's all sing "The day the Dinos died just joking.....us.2u
  21. Dear Aardvark I do apologise for dismissing your post I believe I was too engrossed with my own beliefs, so I am sorry to be too quick off the mark; indeed you may have valid contributions to Dinos' extinction; but IMHO I honestly believe the Mexican Meteorite was the major cause,I've heard so many explanations throughout my life & I find this one seems to hold the most logic....us.2u
  22. AS I said in my previous post "I STAND TO BE CORRECTED IF PROVED WRONG" as I said my feeling is.... "The Mexican meteorite"... but I have never said this is definately the case...us.2u
  23. Where you have SETI rigged up is that for your benefit or some company like NASA? just being nosey really; mind you I guess you come across some strange phenomenoa at times...us.2u
  24. Thank-you for your post Sandi the web-links are informative but I have this feeling that the Mexican meteorite was the main cause of extinction in the Jurassic period; I stand to be corrected if proved wrong but for now, to me at least I seem to find that the most likely cause. Like you, I was not indeed angry at a previous sarcastic post but I felt I had titled my thread "THE DAY THE DINOS' DIED" So whether dogs or cats or whatever was around at the Jurassic time; to me bore no relavance, as I was referring to what had wiped out the Dinosaurs. Oh well no bad feelings, I just stick to my own script...us.2u
  25. Some scientists may indeed challange the Mexican meteorite being the reason for wiping out our Dinos at the KT boundary; & any other "ANIMALS" that may have been living at that time? but if their only explanation was Earths enviromental stresses sometime before the KT boundary & that the atmosphere was becoming toxic & the oceans were stagnant then I don't buy any of that... where's the geological proof? & also Mammals being terriffic survivors that still live today would surely have been extinct forever? IMHO I find your post with no geological backup a sheer nonsense....us.2u
