  1. From wikipedia On Absolute Infinite: On Transfinite Numbers:
  2. huygens landing spot. is it going to beam back images?
  3. I visited this and it has some good info on space elevators. I would love to see humanity in space to the point where there is a tourism industry. I'm just very ominous of our future.
  4. I guess they just began construction today on the new project. News Story
  5. Climate change, peak oil, famine, drought, debt, wars, etc... Modern civilization doesn't have too much time left, but this is my opinion. I'm a pessimist.
  6. Now if only someone would make a tape measure long enough to test this.
  7. I'm a 28 year old CPA auditor from Indianapolis, Indiana. I graduated from Ball State University with my bachelors in accounting and in finance. I'm currently taking CICS courses at Indiana University. I enjoy mathematics, but also enjoy other areas of science as well. I play guitar and I follow a band called ween around a ton. I enjoy music a little too much. I have a silly little blog I maintain in which I write about happenings in music, mostly to keep my friends informed. http://www.demonsweat.com/
  8. Anytime you apply resistance to a muscle it becomes stronger. Check this site out about self-resistance
  9. You need a medium for soundwaves to travel through, and space is a vacuum, yada yada yada... I'm sure the sun is emitting a ton of radio waves, so I guess you could listen to the static. You should check out the July 2004 issue of National Geographic. It's got some kickin photos of the sun. Also check out their website for a bunch of crap they put together on this. And here's what they say the big bang sounded like.
  10. Ah, Israel: the final concentration camp.
  11. I say never. We are reaching the end of human civilization.
