  1. The moon would be a good 'starting point' for long distance space missions. Because it has much less gravity, we could build much larger and more long-term interplanetary vehicles, and it would require less feul to get them away from the gravitational pull.
  2. I don't know... By that do you mean that you think Black Holes are not what they are currently beleived to be?:eyebrow:
  3. I have never beleived the big bang theory anyway. This is just another flaw in a long line that have been found. I don't even consider it (bb theory) plausible.

I believe everyone should have freedom of religion Agree 12. I believe children should have the opportunity to experience all religions, and make the choice for themselves, even at the risk of them accepting a religion that I believe is wrong, thereby condemning them to an eternity of punishment, a low-quality reincarnation, etc. Agree 13. “In God we Trust” should be removed from all U.S. currency Disagree 14. 5. For the functions, we use it as energy... to make things work. For anything that uses batteries or plugs into a wall!!!:D:D
  6. I'm not really sure about the details, but basically some substances are able to 'bend' light around them. I'm not sure how though  Anyway, the light rays from behind the object just go around it, and back onto their original course. So when the rays reach our eyes, it appears as if the object is not there at all. That's all I know of it, for more info you could try wikipedia :eyebrow: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cloaking_device Merged post follows: Consecutive posts merged I think it would fit better into physics?

  8. Going by what they have said i'm probably wrong, but I would have thought that a 'hyperthetical' material that didn't fall apart should, in a vacuum, be able to get to ANY speed, as there would be no friction; Therefore it would keep any kinetic energy that it aquired, and would not lose its speed. If you could keep supplying more and more energy, it should just keep getting faster.
  9. I wouldn't suggest trying it lol... It sort of depends why it "was not 'good'", if it is 'infected' with some types of Fungi it would leave toxins that would still be there after cooking....
  10. I'd pick the 4th one: Oxidised water. Mainly because of the oxygen;the iron cannot oxidise to become rust without it. I'm no expert though, don't put your trust in my opinion....
