  1. I would be more inclined towards the idea of different dimensions. Where slightly different versions of the planet's history exist, would that distort the flow of historical events? Would these "duplicate Earths" be within different dimensions?
  2. It's interesting to think of the possibility of parallel universes. But then, could there not be many parallel worlds within this Universe? Then, parallel Universes means even more parallel worlds...
  3. The definition of success is subjective. It depends on the person, their worldviews, the situation itself, and many other factors.
  4. Egotistical thinking puts one's own needs above others when, given the circumstances of the situation, they should not do so. There is, of course, nothing wrong with taking care of yourself. However, when this aforementioned act comes at the expense of delaying or even hindering the helping of others, that is where it becomes a problem, and that problem is at the centre of egotistical thinking - a problem that refuses to be forsaken when the ego dominates the higher self.
  5. It can be both, really. Different people believe in different things; there is supposed to be much freedom in terms of how people wish to maintain their worldviews and opinions.
  6. That is true...two paradoxical opposites may lead to a unison...
  7. To find your higher purpose, and to walk your destined path.
  8. Agreed. The unknown, we do not have to fear. For we cannot know what lies before us, until the time has come.
  9. Ah, well. That is certainly an unethical decision. It goes against many ethical theories. Certainly, a path of darkness is not the path I was referring to.
  10. It's an interesting thought. To think that the soul has been around within the Universe for an eternity - does that then mean an infinite regress?
  11. To help this world become a better place through fulfilling your own path.
