  1. It would be cool though (to have a tenth+ planet). Wonder what it's temperature would be. Brrrr!
  2. Not funny Sayanora! Btw, This is based on my free will. Not fafalone's bribary.
  3. Maybe I exagerated a little. Sorry Wolfson. btw, Nice idea Wolfson. At first I didn't really understand what it was about. Cool!
  4. I was just wondering the same thing gene. Also, no offense wolfson but I think you'd better watch it. That could be classified as advertising. You could banned for that.
  5. Thanks dave!:worship::worship::worship::worship::worship::worship:
  6. I am afraid you speak for all but me and Fafalone.
  7. Oh. Looks like it is only for Mac. Darn. I have a Windows XP computer that looks like a Mac. It's amazing what you can do with WindowBlinds, ObjectDock, ObjectBar, LogonStudio, and BootSkin!
  8. The way I interpreted your question is that if two magnets are forced to repel each other (or attract each other) how long will they repel/attract each other. My answer is that it doesn't matter. My Proof: I placed two magnets in a bottle a few months ago. I rigged it so the magnets would always repel each other and they would never flip over and attract one another. So far, they are still repelling. It is kinda cool too. You can actually defy gravity. If you push a magnet onto the bottom, outside, you can actually get the middle one to float in what appears to be mid-air. Will try to get some pictures up soon...
  9. I personally think that Fafalone gets too much crap from us. What do you think?
  10. Hey, I was wondering today, What is the exact difference(s) between Frogs and Toads. Thanks!
  11. LOL Hey, btw, what program is that? I have CyPet. requires a little bit more attenction though.
  12. I'm with fafalone. They could even put them inside the water floatation devices to save space. Also, as technology advances, they could headphones with a recording to walk you through the process. Just my thoughts.
  13. As I said in post 7, It was mainly meant as a safety mechanism for small crashes and crash landing. Also, there was also the possibility that they would only be placed where there was a wall the person could fly into. Bat as I told dave and Dudde, You are right. ;-)
  14. For those of you who cannot see Kedas' PDF, Go here: http://216.239.37.104/search?q=cache:A_38NJ6sMdsJ:alpha.qmul.ac.uk/~ugez644/MAT203/LEDs.pdf+&hl=en&ie=UTF-8 Its the Power Of Google! Sorry, no images. Thanks Kedas. ------------------------------------------ I myself would like to post this page: How Stuff Works-How Light Emitting Diodes Work
  15. Glider: Very Interesting stuff there! All: I think you will find this article very interesting/helpful. How Stuff Works: The Immune System
  16. gene: All I know is that I think the Immune system is not a physical system (like the Digestive system has physical organs making it up ex. the stomach). When you boost your immune system, you help it bost its defenses and it makes you less likely to actually get sick. For instance, when you get the Flu Vaccine, you boost your immune system and you are less likely to catch the Flu. The Vaccine exposes you to a small version created in a lab. Your immune system is able to fight off this small version and learns how to fight it in the future. Thus, if you catch the full Flu, it will know how to fight it and you won't get sick. However, things can go wrong. It is possible that you can catch the Flu from the vaccine and the vaccine is not foolproof. Just because you got the Flu Vaccine, doesn't mean you won't get the Flu but that is highly unlikely.
  17. dave and dudde: I think they were mainly talking about cases when they crash landed. They started off by mentioning a crash were a plane lost it's engine (it shut down. They didn't phisically loose it) and they had to crash land and landed a little too hard... But yes, you are right.
  18. OK. Just wanted your feedback on the subject. wolfson: I knew someone was going to poke at the subject that now I have suggested 3 forums in 2 days. LOL ;-)
  19. Technology is changing a lot. It is a large part of science I would like to propose that there be a Technology Forum where we could discuss topics about New Technology coming out and Tech Improvements int the future. What do you think?
  20. A TechTV story this morning was about whether or not air bags should be placed on airplanes. Currently, only 3 airlines have planes with airbags and they only have them in the front where the person could hit their head on a wall. If the U.S. were to require air bags on planes, it would cost about $100,000 PER PLANE! What do you think?
  21. dave: Very True! Man build computers to help them and then uses them to do stupid things like finding the largest prime number...
  22. The Japanese must be embarrased! (Or they should be)
  23. Why do they need a Nuclear Plant on Mars? If there are Martians, the chances are they are way past Nuclear Plants as means of electricity.
