  1. I suppose it would be as different as injecting an aspirin or swallowing it, but if you're a medical professional let me know how different you think it would be. Thanks for your information about vaccination which I googled to confirm. I've had no experience with vaccine since Elementary school 55 or more years ago so I haven't thought about it except in the past several years when it reached the news about autism, and I saw right away the science was poor on either side, but what I know about the vaccination discussion is the side of the argument which says YOU MUST BELIEVE IN VACCINES are in general very loud and insulting towards those who don't want the vaccine, while the side that says, 'No after careful consideration I've decided not to get the vaccination' is quiet and unassuming. I've seen that in flesh and blood life and in internet discussions.
  2. What has caused STIs to reach epidemic and record levels in 2018? Is it the water we drink? The air we breathe? Dirty toilet seats? (CNN)Rates of syphilis, gonorrhea and chlamydia have climbed for the fourth consecutive year in the United States, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced Tuesday at the National STD Prevention Conference in Washington. Last year, nearly 2.3 million US cases of these sexually transmitted diseases were diagnosed, according to preliminary data. That's the highest number ever reported nationwide, breaking the record set in 2016 by more than 200,000 cases, according to the CDC. https://www.cnn.com/2018/08/28/health/std-rates-united-states-2018-bn/index.html Or is it an abandonment of what old fashioned people call 'morality?' What is morality? Can morality be defined scientifically? Can science lead the way to a higher morality if necessary?
  3. An article I looked through says one of the possible causes for acetaminophen to possibly lead to autism is that it lowers the temperature of an ill child, higher temperatures are needed to kill invading agents. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5044872/ Eating and digesting aluminum is far different than having it injected into the bloodstream.
  4. The link is slow to come up for sure, but it came fully when it came. Thanks for the blessing.
  5. Lack of sexual propriety has brought back diseases which were on the brink of extinction 10 years ago, and children can pay the price for that too, not that I'm saying studies done showing links with autism and autism wrong, but no one seems to be saying 'keep it in your pants' in the same way a lot of people say 'if you don't get vaccinated you're a criminal.' https://www.cdc.gov/media/releases/2017/p0926-std-prevention.html It shouldn't be, Strange, I believe in freedom and individual liberty. I believe in the right of conscience based on many things including the accumulation of information. I believe in, for instance, massively promoting the cleaning of air cooling and heating systems ahead of mass immunizations for people who don't need them IF they clean their systems.
  6. Perhaps off topic, but oxygen isn't need for animal life. https://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2010/04/100416-oxygen-free-complex-animals-mediterranean/ I believe Mars has lots of life, including animals, oxygen using or not. I believe that I saw in one of the first photos of the first Martian landers, perhaps the first lander, a pair of animals like Armadillos, and their eyes were on the lander's camera as it moved. I can't find the photo online though.
  7. Put it a few extra cords of wood for winter though. My forecast lands in the water, usually, but my hindcast usually hooks the trees behind me.
  8. Exactly. But some of us know what we're talking about. No Smiley Face!!!!
  9. Moon .. If you're talking (writing) to me, your first mistake is that I'm not 75, but it typifies your other mistakes.
  10. For heaven's sake MODERATOR the question's been answered close the thread before we start firing Missals at each other!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "What is born of the flesh is flesh .. what is born of the spirit is spirit." John 3:6
  11. Completely understandable, Strange, there has been a LOT of stuff stuffed into the stuffing. We'll have to remember how we did it when the Christmas turkey waddles in. you're joking, right? If not .. the Hi Jack I addressed you with .. arising from your mention of hijacking .. twice I am sure you mentioned hijacking .. yes, here is the evidence, "Whoops! Sorry to hijack your own hijacking." Time for a break I'm thinking, but I don't want to miss anything either.
  12. For "heavens" sake Zosimus .. we are using the English language despite its huge failures, I can't switch to the Greek or Latin or Hebrew popular today (please forgive my jest.) In my experience 'Atheist' is used by EVERYONE I know everyone I have EVER known to describe someone who does not believe in God who created the universe. It has NEVER applied to whether a person goes to church or not, for instance. Hi Jack. Good to hear from you. (Yes I know, your name is Reg, you caught the joke I am sure.) YES!!! BY GOLLY!! Just like that kind of preaching!!!!! Another good example you included: "It is "a waste of time trying to discuss anything with a preacher" since he is "unwilling to change their mind after hearing the best supported argument". Yes .. that kind of preaching. Thank you.
  13. Strange and whoever or whoever .. What I wrote was: "Stephen Hawking seems to have necessitated for himself his own formal unbelief in God ..."
  14. Good advice for someone who needs to feed a family in our modern economic era don't you think, Moon? I can't tell you why you should believe the bible .. that might be considered preaching, you know, like someone telling me why I should believe in the Big Bang? NOT that I say BB is false, just that I believe there is a better explanation.
  15. And there is no condemnation from me towards you. I really don't believe I would have written that. What I thought I wrote was that he rejected God.
  16. You'll have to include some examples of what your talking about, Studiot.
  17. https://www.livescience.com/63854-stephen-hawking-says-no-god.html I also watched the documentary of his life, he left his wife for the woman they hired as his personal assistant. Strange, for honesty and truth's sake, what ideas of mine do you consider ignorant?
  18. No brag, just fact. I'm 71 years old, I read a LOT of non fiction, mostly educational stuff, very few novels, I watch no t.v., do not listen to the radio. I don't waste much time, though I rest a lot these days, afternoon grandpa naps you know.
  19. I can only advise you accept the reality of the meaning of the words as defined in dictionaries rather than your own understanding. Perhaps you can check different dictionaries, I don't need to, I worked as a reporter photographer for a daily newspaper.
  20. What claims do you think are erroneous and irrelevant and pseudo scientific? I thought we were talking about spooky Non Locality.
  21. "The death of Atheism is associated with the reverse I suggest, and the more likley for the reasons I have stated...that is, the conforming to religious beliefs as simply traditional and in name only and fear of the unknown." I really have little understanding of what you are saying in the first 10 words. I agree that many people are leaving traditional religions, I see it clearly in Canada, but there are new organizations all the time .. non-denominationalism. People who believe in God are also leaving the formal assemblies because they can't seem to provide the outer-wall friendships and fellowships believers desire, once a week togetherness is not enough to sustain human relationships. Another reason for going outside the walls is the scripture that says the New Jerusalem will have no temple. (Revelation. You can google it easily.) That doesn't mean those people are NOT believing in God, but that they DO.
  22. There has been a lot written and read here in the past hour or so, I cannot remember saying those who believe in BB say it proves there is no God, and it doesn't sound like what I would say. I believe I said the question of BB arose from questions of science proving or disproving the existence of God. If you can find that statement please provide it. If God wanted to use BB to create the universe who am I to say 'No God, don't do it that way!!!!!!" Personally I believe he seeded quantum fluctuations that grew. Strange you certainly do become. What is it about Non Locality you don't believe. It has been proven. The Chinese demonstrated it at a distance with a satellite. Etc.
