calcium carbonate and salt reaction
You got it.

Intramolecular Sn2
The question is why cyanide is used and not only hydroxide. I guess chlorine is exchanged by cyanide and in a further reaction the nitrile will react with the alcohol group to form a ring. Look for Pinner reaction.

Anti-tarnishing something...
Contacts normaly coated by gold, tin, or other noble metal, there will be no oxidation. Copper ones have to be cleaned time to time by special contact spray, but dont put anti tarnish on it. It will work like a resistor and the contact will not work probably.

calcium carbonate and salt reaction
No, both salts have good solubility. You will have Ca2+, Na+, CH3COO- and Cl- Ions in the solution.

What is the compound in spent zinc-carbon battery ?
The Manganese-IV-oxide is reduced to manganese-II,III-oxide Mn3O4

sodium bicarbonate decomposition temperature
Decomposition startes above 65 ° C and the best performance is 270°C and it needs 950 kJ/ mol
-
calcium carbonate decomposition temperature
Yes correct.
-
calcium carbonate decomposition temperature
Thats correct, for calculating the conversion of the given mass. But the head line asked for decomposition temperature. So different questions.
-
calcium carbonate decomposition temperature
Temperatures above 680°C decomposition starts. Save reaction is at 900° C. In industrical oven it's used 1000 - 1300 °C.

Again dont answer 2 year old threads

Can someone help me figure out what the noble gas configurations for zirconium and holmium are?
Dont post answers for 3 year old threads, probably the people not more alive.

Citric Acid Solution Leaves White Residue - Any Ideas on How to Eliminate It?
Citroc acid is a Solid compound, if the water is ebaporated then you get a white residue. To avoid change to acetic acid.

Calcium chloride in DIY dehumidifier - safety ?
Calciumchloride will absorb water until it changes to liquid. So probably not good idea to use it and blow air over it.

copper sulphate and water
Yeah that is the correction of the observers1 question.

copper sulphate and water
No, CuSO4 dissociates to Cu(H2O)4 2+ ( blue colour) and SO4 2- ions, like all salts do if dissolved in water. NaCl => Na+ + Cl- as example. And your equation is wrong. H2O + CuSO4 ---> H2SO4+ Cu? You forget the oxygen from H2O H2O + CuSO4 <--- H2SO4+ CuO is a reaction what can take place.

Does rechargeable battery degrade slower if not used so often?
To get the Anode and cathode activ it needs charging and discharging. No use will get residius on the electrodes. Strong use charging and discharging also minimize the lifetime by dissolving of the electrodes. The longest lifetime is achieved to have small discharging and charging current. For this you can buy small rectifier to do this job, voltage controlled.

what are the names of 2 solids that combust when they come into contact
This topic I on the border limit to discuss. Not so much hints about how explosives reacting please. This topic should be closed.

Which alkene is more stable?
You are right,if it is E2. I was thinking it is E1.
-
Which alkene is more stable?
The first molecule will be built because after Elimination the Cl. The carbanion is stabilized through the methyl group.
