  1. Why there is no necessity? what is your bases for having this argument? To me it seems that there is necessity because you can ask the question" why this is the universe that exist and not the other type?" We can ask this question because of the philosophy of the possible worlds. I also argue your second sentence. We can still argue " why things in this universe is the way they are?"
  2. Ahm, may I ask, what is your bases for saying "there isn't need to be a purpose" and "it could be chance." Then we can still argue, " why multiverse and not the other way around like for example, universe?" Then we can still argue, why these is the laws of physics and not the other way around? I have a faith of something. It doesn't mean that it is blind faith but I have faith with reason or reasonable faith.
  3. And your view could also be not true. Let me put my justification or defense for my view. Imagine, example the only thing that exist is a strawberry tree. We can argue, why this type of tree exist for eternity and not a coconut tree etc. There are many possibilities but why this is the one that exist. There must be a purpose for why it exist other than those other possible trees. The strawberry tree could be liken to the universe. Why this type of universe exist and not a universe where planets are not sphere but cube shape ( just an example).
  4. We can think that there is a purpose for why we are here also somebody could also think there is no purpose at all. For you, I just want to ask, which is more valid base on evidences, purpose or no purpose?(For me purpose-I will provide the justification of it but let me know your part first if it is ok) Thank you
  5. It is not preaching. I only point out the rational foundation of Christian religion regarding sin and how could it be solved. Remember, the religion label here is sharing the rational foundations of religion.
  6. Sin is a privation of good. It is a wrong doing base on conscience and base on Christianity the humanity falls on it. It is like a disease that affects the whole mankind and the world. We ourselves can't escape from it. It is only God who can save us.
  7. Seeing the night sky gave a positive outlook in my life. I want to ask if this also happens to you?
  8. Thank you for your consideration. I may fail but God never fails. My motive also here is not to convince anybody but to share the validity of my belief.
  9. Please wait. I will expund my thoughts because I am not yet good in Christian philosophy. Let me provide my arguments in the upcoming days.
  10. We wonder the primality of prime numbers and why they are located in specific locations. I discovered a way of why this is the way it is. Primes and their locations are cause by this multiplicative-odd-number series process: First the odd numer 3 is multiplied to itself and above 3 odds: 3*3=9 3*5=15 3*7=21 3*9=27 and so on... Second the next odd of 3 which is 5:(same process like above) 5*5=25 5*7=35 5*9=45 5*11=55 and so on Third, fouth and so on.This process will continue unto infinity. let's find out using the above process why 2,3,5,7 are primes below 10. 3*3= 9 5*5=25 here, the odd numbers except 1 are automatically primes below 9 because there is no other way the odd 3 can be multiplied except to itself and above it. Since 3*3= 9 therefore all the odd numbers except 1 are prime numbers. 5*5 also can't accomodate that because it equals to 25. Note: Below 10 is only an example. Actually it can explain all prime numbers. Sorry for my bad English if you don't understand what I'm saying.
  11. Please clarify, what are your bases for saying that to "design" philosopers? If chance so why chance and not "determined"? So it is still subject to volition argument. Those other possibilties of what would our universe look like other than this.
  12. I would actually ask you also to give your evidences for your claims. So what must be the other explanation for why this is the property of the universe and not the other way around. I will argue that there is none other than my argument. You can provide if there is any? And I will sincerely expound my thoughts with regards to this in the next days.
  13. Tell me by the way why you don't think that before I will respond. They conclude that because they have use good arguments to support that and they philosophize properly.
  14. There is a logical argument there- Why this is the property of the universe other than anything else? From here we can see that it denotes volition. Example, a man put a shoe inside a box and put it in the woods and go away. And here you do hiking on the woods and you see the box and open it. Here you wonder, why a shoe is inside a box and not the other way around like for example a slipper. You would probably conclude that the shoe must be chosen to be put inside the box. Here we see that it must requires volition. There is no flaw in logic here. Tell me if there is.

Actually Koti, where I'm at if someone says "berrrrr" it means they're cold. Like a shiver. Bers means multiple shivers.

      koti

Isn't that "brrr" not "berrr" ?

  16. I am not simply believe it. This is logical argument which I thought for several months.
  17. I am not arrogant or self-righteous here, I also fall short from the glory of God. What my motive is that I just want to share what my wisdom learned and perspective base on the truth that I found.
  18. One way that I see on how science and christianity could be reconciled is by saying that science as well as philosophy are tools to explain or support the truth claims in the bible. Example is the discovery of science that the earth floats in empty space which exactly what Job 26:7 says and in philosophy the term "greatest conceivable being" which is a perfect or maximally great being which also exactly what the scripture says that God is perfect.
  19. Why there are heathen religions? My answer is that it is just the result of the longings of the human heart to the unknown satisfaction. And that unknown satisfaction is the broken relationship of humankind to God when they sinned. What are your thoughts with regards to this view?
  20. This is not just my beliefs. This are true. God is the best explanation for the data gathered in cosmology, morality, mathematics, metaphysics, and personal life. In cosmology, please wait, I will provide it.
  21. There is already evidence in cosmology but, I would rather provide 5 points which I already provided in my other thread. This idea is from Dr. Craig These are the ff. 1. God is the best explanation why anything at all exist. 2. God is the best explanation for the origin of the universe. 3. God is the best explanation for the applicability of math in the world. 4. God is the best explanation for objective moral values and duties. 5. God can be personally known and experience. If you wish to expound them then I will do my best.
  22. I posted that because I read some post that there are contradictions in the Bible which is not. So I gave that example. If God is loving "Why He destroy the Canaanites?" which some think it contradicts to the notion that God is love. We should know that God at the same time just. He hate sin and imperfection because He is perfect.
  23. It shows that through the philosophy, it is the best explanation.
  24. That is a rational argument imagining something that can possibly exist other than the universe and asking "Why this is the property of the universe and not the other way around?" makes you think that it must denote volition.
