  7. Started by Norman Albers,

I have a box of glass plates, thick and maybe 3"x8" or so. I want a rain gauge so I am figuring the relation between rain infall and height at the bottom of a 'V' configuration described by two plates, with two others plating the flat sides. I have to figure how to mark the scale of height coming up from the bottom so it corresponds to rain. If I decide how high it will be, say, six inches, does it matter how wide the opening is?

  10. Hey a while back I had made a post regarding a riddle that I've made. Well, that riddle gradually died out as people figured it out, and later on, it truly died when my webhost canceled my account. Well, now that I have a new web host, its back! I plan on adding more to the riddle and/or new riddles. http://riddle.studymachine.org Enjoy , and don't be afraid to share hints and answers with each other. Just please make your answers hard to read or something so you don't spoil it for everyone else. P.S. If you are the first to figure out a level, your name goes in the records.

My first is double twenty-one but twice of twenty-two, Decipher it and you will see that statement is quite true. My next two are just three apart, or, looking at the link, You'll have the answer easily and will not have to think. My fourth is so more ways than one, so long as you can spell, While my fifth splits first and second, so what is it? Can you tell? It may seem like these words of rhyme are nonsense things to say, Though the five together are right here (two ways) so what are they?

This is a "secret message" posted in the Panic! At The Disco journal on their website. I was wondering if anyone here can make sense out of it; if it's a real message or just something that Jon Walker wrote to be funny or something. I'm also interested in how one would solve something like this. I don't have a clue as to how to solve it. (The bolded part is the title and date it was posted, I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the "message" or not.) The original is here: http://www.panicatthedisco.com/palebird/index.html 05.17.2007 - The moon is our pocket watch. Behold, the forest is blooming. The new summer is approaching us. The water is warm, the air is cr…

Here's one I think people may enjoy. I would recommend using pen and paper to solve it. "Keith is twice as old as as Joseph was when Keith was half as old as Joseph will be when Joseph is three times as old as Keith was when Keith was three times as old as Joseph. Their combined ages make forty eight" How old are they? Enjoy:D

This puzzle is very hard. I've gotten to the fifth or sixth, but I got stuck. I had the answer, but I didn't know what I was doing... It'll require a lot of research in the show, which is in the fansite http://www.mindfreakconnection.com. I think there are forums for it, but I can't remember where. It also requires a bit of URL editing.
