Very flexible glue suggestion for PVC, please ?

In need to seal a sturdy PVC plastic bag with a flexible, permanent, agressive glue. Thermosealing / thermowelding would be the correct way, but not on hand to do it that way.

The bag shows "Recycle 3" which should be PVC, made of about 0.3mm thick 'films'

Unsure if something that somewhat dissolves the material to form the bond would be better.

 

Any product recommendation ?

No, it is not refilled with Bourbon. Houses electronic equipment in oil.

How flexible? Those water based caulks (like 'no more nails') and building adhesives dry hard but there is some give in them (slight flexibility). They stick well to anything too and are easy to spread and apply.

 

Does it need to be waterproofing? Would just some PVA wood glue do? That can be quite flexible as it is just a load of polymer with some filler.

Further thoughts.... if you use a polymer cement, like the type you mention where it melts/dissolves the plastic and forma a weld, might not be that usable with such a thin sheet of plastic bad... it might melt straight through.

Oh - sorry - is that what you are trying to fix in your link? I'm not sure my suggestions are suitable for that - lol.

Success...

Tried 'hot melt glue', Loca glue, Silicone... and only this worked:
