I have the book: Learn Visual Basic in 21 Days by Sams Publishing. I like it a lot and I know htat they have one on C and C++. They basically have one for each version and for all languages. I highly recommend this series.

I searched on Amazon.com for C++ books. Here are the results:

It might even help you the reviews.

I fyou want to buy a book on Amazon I suggest you buy used. I ahve done it with HTML books and Visual Basic Books and some of them come with just the cover bent or the plastic wrap still on them. Not to mention they are cheaper than the new book!!!
