Is there a way to delete a post or thread I've started? Thanks

Just PM a Moderator or Administrator if one is online or use this list. Let one of us know what you would like deleted or moved.

 

You can edit but you can't delete.

It was suggested else where that we should have the oppertunity to delete our own post.

 

Also is there a way of emailing us when a post has been delted, because a few times i have thought that a post has been deleted, however i just posted it in a different thread that was similar.

The reason we don't allow deletions is for those people that insist on posting things then going back and deleting everything after people don't agree with them (we've had a couple of instances). Also, I don't think vB supports e-mails upon deletion - we'd also be sending out a load of e-mails to people who post junk/advertise around here as well.

And because there's no automated system it'd take up mod/admin time which they can't be bothered to spend on you when they have to delete your posts because they are not suitable!!!

 

(People have asked before and that's normally the standard response!)
