Emotional Intelligence is knowing when to keep your mouth shut. All happily married men have very high Emotional Intelligence.

I am not sure whether I agree on the concept as a whole, but that was pretty much the best description I have ever read on it.

Its this trending concept(primarily in HR based on my own observations). I'm not sure if it has any real scientific basis.
