Hi guys,

I was wondering about something I read in Wikipedia (See Here) that states that if you apply certain magnetic fields to plasma, you can take advantage of the fact that it is ionised and manipulate it into a sort of filament.

 

Thanks in advance - if you answered my question - otherwise, meh (Meaning a short dismissive grunt).

Look up the name Hannes Alfven - he got a Nobel prize for this stuff.
