Yes.

It all depends on the format.If you want you film to play in a dvd player it must be in VCD,SVCD,M-peg4(some dvd players dont play m-pegs).

You cannot burn a film in VOB(dvd format)

Really? I thought it would be exactly the opposite. I figure the more expensive ones would be able to handle a greater varitety of formats (hence the higher price).

 

I figure the cheaper ones would only play DVDs...as they are more common. It would employ more tech to play multiple formats and that would drive prices up.

 

Weird.
