Problem of the day Archimede's pricipal (Buoyancy force)

Featured Replies

Problem of the week:

I have a marble that is immersed in water. Volume of the marble is 10cm^3, its density is 1g/cm^3, and of course the acceleration due to gravity is 9.8m/s^2.

1)Find the Net force acting on the marble?

Same as the net force acting on the water.

Will not be buoyant, will not sink.
