sjbaybutt Posted April 16, 2013 Share Posted April 16, 2013 (edited) Hey, I had a thought that if you was to basically build a cyclotron into a nuclear reactor then focus the beam of radiation in to a very large pool of water to generate electricity. Would this be at all possible? Would this be at all possible? Since most of the energy of a fission reactor is released as neutrons which are not affected by a magnetic field I would have to say no...
