As dengue fever is caused by a viral infection, the medicinal drink can help in building immunity to prevent dengue. For patients affected with dengue, the medicinal drink can help by boosting the platelet count in the blood.

 

the following are being used in making the herbal water.

1- leaf extract of papaya tree

2-leaf extract of Melia composita willd

3-boiled and filtered dry root of Andrographis paniculata

 

This method is currently used by tamil nadu government (state government of India) in dengue elimination.
