Is it childish for theists to believe in the existence of God or multiple gods?

 

What does everyone here think?

There are many non-childish reasons that do a superb job of explaining why adults hold these types of beliefs, but my personal view is that... Yes, the beliefs themselves tend to be pretty childish overall.

As well, since this is the Religion forum, a thread asking whether or not believing in God is childish is in itself a violation of our Philosophy and Religion rules.
