Is anyone into behaviroal finance? The study of how people make decisions when trading stocks?

Never really heard of it. I have heard of computers predicting financial models using past data, but I didn't really know there was a study devoted to studying the behavior of a stock trader. Is this somethig you're doing reseach on?

Behavorial finance is the study of how psycology affects human interaction in the stock market. A way to explain why some people trade so often and how others can tolerate risk.

No, I suppose no one is.

Its just psychology, why do people some people live withought spending an extra penny while others max out every credit card they have, fancy name is all.

Behavioral finance is the effect of behavioral marketing. In the world of the stock market, this may be the way in which the company represents itself in regard to the buyers three determining issues.

The three magical issues that determine how a person makes a financial decision are NEED, WANT, and VANITY. Depending on the persons personality type and prioity of these three conditions will determine the probability of the decision.

Most things disguise themselves with NEED and are really WANT or VANITY. This is the personal justification. Dont be a consumer!
