i have a nice large bottle of 40% hydrogen peroxide. unfortunately it is white and viscous. the other ingredients (aside from water and hydrogen peroxide) are: cetaryl alcohol, cetareth-20, stearic acid, cetyl alcohol and phosphoric acid. i froze the solution and the hydrogen peroxide didn't come out. that's not cool at all. it was just a white solid. how can i extract the peroxide?

chem...supply stores? what dat?

actually, we have a few glassware sellers around here but theyre so expensive that it's mostly ponitless...and no chemical suppliers. i have no access to nitrates, or halates or perhalates of any sort, for example. i have a great deal of lab work that i would like to do, but i need sulfuric acid for purification and extraction first, which i am having great difficulty obtaining.

i've gotten ammonium perchlorate from the UMASS lab for free. dont ask me why they gave it to me...lol.

be exceptionaly carefull with that stuff, it`s a fire hazzard, and although it has a low DV in comparison to other explosives, it CAN make the DDT!

other than that, have fun :)))

yeah i know...i made some rocket fuel with it...works a lot better than KNO3 and sugar. lol. now, wht would happen if i added a catalyst, like red iron oxide, or brown iron oxide...you think it would explode? im using ammonium perchlorate and aluminum powder. REALLY FINE aluminum powder. i dont know the mesh, i got it from a scrap yard. so far it works pretty good. i dont know a good binder to get this stuff into a solid grain, so i just press the powder and punch a core. it makes some good sparks al well as noise.
