HCl

Featured Replies

so i was watching saw 6 (i think it was 6) and i saw the needles come down on this guy and pumped him full of HCl and i wanted to know how to make this. my friends told me to just get some H and Cl and put it in a gas cylinder, pressurize it, and hen i would get the HCl, but i dont think its that simple. if you could tell me how to make it i would be really happy

P.S

i know i can buy it on the interwebz but i want to have some fun burning my fingers off

again, as i said with the 'cheap NaOH' thread there are shops that will sell it (like hard ware stores and plumbing shops) under the name spirits of salt. it costs about £2-5 for a litre... if you cant find it, look on ebay seller Bio-stains (might not have the '-')

Why do novice chemists insist on going for the dangerous stuff before learning the basics? It's like buying a 1200cc Harley and starting right up on the super highway.

watch this one and it will make you feel a little sick:
