Does anyone know any online libraries, where you can access books without the need for a credit card and other stuff, by means of just viewing them virtually (on the page) or by download.

If it is free ebooks, yes there are some websites that have a collection of free ebooks.Probably not as complete as a local library. In the internet age, anyone can write anything , don't know about the credibility.
