Mosquito

Featured Replies

A few days ago I was told that there is West Nile Virus in my county. I just got ate up by mosquitos. They were blue and had stripes. Does that kind of mosquito carry the virus?

The Culex type of mosquitoes normally carry the West Nile Virus. They do have stripes, and are rather common. But in young healthy people it only seems like a cold really. The ones who really need to worry are elderly people or people with weak immune systems.

I think the worms they carry are more dangerous.

in my family ,mostly mosquitoes bite me and my dad.

i've read that they smells the co2 we exhale and follows us and i also read that they can identify the contents of our blood so they are selective suckers.

relation between CO2 and blood contents?

their favourite blood contents?

What exactly are the symptoms of West Nile? Cos I just got eaten up by mosquitos and now I have a strange sort of cold like thing. Im not worried, as Im taking lots of zinc, elderberry, Vit. C, and so on.

all sites are helpful .thanks
